MotorBikin’ Brrm Brrm...
I love bikes and have been riding on and off since I was old enough. Which is another way of saying I’m an old biker who’s been riding bikes since the Seventies. Hence an interest in older bikes.
Before deciding this Year that I was going to go ‘Modern’ with my TT600, I was a member of the TR3OC - (that’s the Trident and Rocket3 Owner’s Club) and rode a 1975 Triumph T160 for a number of Years. The owners’ club hold a Rally over a weekend in July / August time and have done so for 13 Years so far. This is held at the Cadwell Park Race track in Lincolnshire.
I don’t live there anymore but was actually born in Louth which is the local town and once lived (as a tiny baby with Ma & Pa) in Tathwell which is a little village even closer to Cadwell.
Anyway, the rallies are usually a mix of track time for those with enough courage to risk throwing a prized classic down the road, good company amongst fellow members and guests alike and a lively BBQ with Band on the Saturday night.
The Links on this page lead to various shots taken at these events and include a number of nice looking older (generally not vintage) motorcycles.
